Aerosmith Headlining Download Festival Kill Devil Hill Added to Sunday’s Lineup.
European tour dates have just been added to Kill Devil Hill’s 2014 schedule, including a performance on June 15th at Donnington Park for the legendary Download Festival.
Aerosmith will headline Sunday’s show and other featured acts that day include Alter Bridge, Steel Panther, Jake E Lee‘s Red Dragon Cartel, Richie Sambora, Trivium, Phil Anselmo and The Illegals, and Suicide Silence.
Kill Devil Hill will also be appearing at Copenhell in Copenhagen, appearing alongside acts such as Obituary and Behemoth. Also scheduled is a performance aboard a Mississippi riverboat named the HMS Hammer on the Thames river for special guests of the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards Show that night.
Also appearing on the Boat will be Dillinger Escape Plan, Upon a Burning Body, and Dying Fetus. The boat will pick up fans at a stop along the shore, then cruise up the Thames river to the O2 Arena where the awards show will be held. Hosted by the inimitable Steel Panther, the show will feature performances by Dillinger Escape Plan, Behemoth, and Blackberry Smoke.
Kill Devil Hill will also make an appearance at The Underworld in London near Camden Square. The Underworld has been called the heart of London’s music scene, and has hosted some of today’s top names in music over the years. The band is very excited to bring their brand of ballsy hard rock back to a European audience.
After appearing at the With Full Force Festival the previous summer, and having had a chance to meet some of the rabid European fans in Germany, the boys are looking forward to another chance to get acquainted with their audience ‘across the pond’ so to speak.
